This song is a bop. It also had a very nerdy birth.

I got cast in a production of Company as Kathy, one of the main character's love interests — the "one who got away", some say. Kathy doesn't get much chance to sing about her feelings, but I sing about my feelings all the time. So one day as I was cleaning the bathtub and thinking about Kathy, I started hearing some rhymes, and a song was born. I found a lot to relate to. (Even if you don't know a thing about musicals.)
